1st vs Chaddertonians

St. Clements 0-1 Chaddertonians

Against a tough opponent a lacklustre start to the game, Clements had a few half chances we couldn’t convert.

Chadds controlled the first half and we stood off allowing them to create chances, with B. Johnson keeping the saints in the game with some great goalkeeping on multiple occasions.

Chadds struck home the only goal of the game from a ball into the channel with the man left free to deliver under no pressure to tap home.

The second half told a different tale in terms of intensity, with the saints battling and getting closer to their men. More intensity and aggression had us control the game, but without creating any chances.

Overall a timid display, lots to work on to find our rhythm.
