First Team Match Report - Saints 3-1 Accy

A change of shape for the Saints as we searched for answers to questions going forward.

We started the game in total control, dominated the ball and dominating the chances. The midfield of J. Hebb, L. Burke and J. Beal were cutting through Accy.

We had multiple chances to score but couldn’t find the net, and found ourselves 1-0 down to a quick counter with their only shot of the half.

In the second half we regrouped and it was more of the same, it was levelled thanks to a neat L. Neal finish from a J. Doolin cross.

It was all Saints searching for the winner, and L. Neal popped up again from a B. Crompton cross/shot slamming it home.

It was controlled from then, and B. Durrant got himself on the score sheet after M. Davies weaved his way into the space and cut it back.
