1st Nov: Match Reports
First Team
The Firsts looked to make it 5 on the bounce against Accrington today.
An unfortunate start to the game, with T. Beal going down with a serious injury. All the Saints wish him a speedy recovery as he awaits surgery.
After the stoppage, the Saints kicked on and raced into a 2 goal lead thanks to L. Neal peach and J. Beal header.
We slacked off from then conceding a sloppy goal as Accy got one back.
Before the break J. Beal restored the 2 goal lead with another clinical header.
After half time it was all Saints. We controlled the game and were the best team.
S. Keown grabbed a goal after a looping L. Neal cross hit the post and came back to him, and he doubled his tally with another clinical strike after a J. Doolin through ball.
The day was rounded off with a J. Beal finish to round off his hat trick. A good few days for JB with the POTM and a Hat Trick.
MOTM- That boy JB. Class act.
Onto the next.
